It began as a feeling.
Long before Luv Crafts became a name, it was the quiet pull to make something beautiful—slowly, carefully and with our own hands.
We are working professionals, but creators at heart. Candle making became the place where precision could meet imagination, and where an ordinary material could become an object with presence.

The beginning
We did not begin with a business plan.
We began with wax, colour, patience—and the need to see what our hands could make next.
Our journey began in India in 2017 with simple pillar candles. Then came the questions: how does temperature change the wax? How can layers hold colour? At what precise moment can a surface be cut, folded and shaped before the opportunity disappears?
We studied, experimented and started again. Technique became instinct. With every candle, the forms grew more intricate and our hands more certain.
At Christmas markets, we would look for work like ours and find nothing quite the same. When we showed photographs to stallholders, their surprise gave us a thought we could no longer ignore: perhaps these objects were meant to travel beyond our own home.

Passion became purpose.
During a peaceful New Year break, we finally gave the feeling a name. Luv Crafts was born—not to produce more, but to share better.
Today, every piece is created in our Netherlands atelier alongside our professional lives. That balance asks more of us, but it also protects what matters: the work stays personal, considered and close to the hands that made it.

No two carvings open in exactly the same way. That difference is not corrected or concealed—it is the signature of the making.
Patience over pace
Wax offers only a short working window. Every cut and fold is made when the material is ready, never when a production schedule demands it.
Individuality over repetition
Colour, ribbon flow and fine details vary naturally. Each candle carries the decisions and movements of the person who shaped it.
Presence over decoration
We consider proportion, harmony and the room around the piece so it can be lived with as an object—not simply placed as an accessory.

From the palette and silhouette to the bead-finished wick, every decision belongs to the whole. We make candles that can live first as collectible décor and, if you choose, become light.
