Why no two hand-carved candles can ever be identical

The same beginning · A different ending
Repetition belongs to machines. Variation belongs to the hand.
Wax remembers temperature, pressure and timing. A ribbon lifted one second earlier curls differently. A cut made half a degree deeper reveals another line of colour. The maker responds to what the material offers in that moment.
That is why “handmade” is not a decorative phrase here. It is visible evidence: in the rhythm of the petals, the small asymmetry of a bow and the way one layered colour appears more confidently than another.

Warm wax bends in response to the hand; no two curls settle with identical tension.

The maker composes the object as it develops, allowing each side to find its own harmony.
