The care journal · Floral candles
One bouquet.
Many small rituals.
Each handcrafted flower is an individual candle. The bouquet is enjoyed slowly—one removable bloom at a time.
Begin the ritualBefore the first flame
A bouquet that changes with the evenings you give it.
At first it is simply there: a soft sculpture on a console, catching the afternoon light. Then, when the moment feels right, one flower leaves the arrangement and becomes a candle of its own.
You do not burn the bouquet. You choose from it. That small distinction is both the poetry of the object and the foundation of using it safely.
THE BOUQUETLives as an art objectDisplay it, preserve it and always keep the arrangement unlit.
THE BLOOMBecomes the evening ritualRemove one flower, prepare it, then burn it by itself.
“The bouquet does not disappear in one evening. It becomes a collection of little occasions.”
The preparation · Two quiet chapters
First, separate the story from the sculpture.
No flame should come near the arrangement. The flower becomes a candle only after it is completely removed, its support is taken out and it is settled on a safe holder.
Choose and release
Take one bloom. Leave the bouquet whole.
Lift a single wax flower carefully from the arrangement. Hold it securely, then pull the wooden support stick straight out from the centre of its base.
Look before you light: the support must be fully removed, the flower must be separate from all fabric and filler material, and its wick must be clear.
Make a place for the flame
Give a small flower a generous stage.
Set the bloom upright in the centre of a wide heat-resistant plate, candle tray, glass or ceramic holder on a stable level surface.
Clear the scene: trim the wick to approximately 5 mm and remove curtains, paper, decorations, draughts and anything that can catch fire.
One bloom. One flame.
The individual burn · The moment arrives
One flame changes the atmosphere.
The wick catches, light gathers in the petals and the flower begins to soften. This is the part to watch—not walk away from.

Keep the ritual beautiful
Always
- Burn one flower candle at a time.
- Use a heat-resistant holder or plate.
- Keep the flame within sight.
- Allow the flower to cool completely before touching.
- Keep the remaining bouquet in a cool, dry place.
Protect the arrangement
Never
- Never ignite a flower while it is attached to the bouquet.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never move the flower while it is burning.
- Never place it near draughts or flammable materials.
- Never leave wick trimmings or debris in melted wax.
After the flame · The bouquet remains
Care for what is waiting.
Let the used flower and its holder cool completely before touching them. The remaining bouquet returns to being an art object, ready for another day and another chosen bloom.
Soften the lightKeep away from direct sunlight to help preserve colour.
Keep it coolAvoid radiators, warm rooms and other heat sources.
Dust gentlyUse a soft, dry brush without pressing the petals.
Welcome variationSubtle differences are a natural signature of handmade work.
